Slow drags are very simple, the last car
there wins.
If you want it to be, it can also be highly
competitive.
Here are the rules:
This is a double elimination event.
All cars must have a motor and that
motor must be used to move the car
Burnouts will disqualify anyone from
further participation.
Brake lights will be checked at start
lines, they must be working.
Participants must go when the flag is
lowered - no hesitating at the start line.
Contestants may accelerate only until
the front wheels touch the first wooden plank.
Once you cross the first wooden plank
you cannot use your brakes and the car must be in
gear.
There can be no slipping the clutch
except at the start.
Hands must be kept on the steering
wheel where they can be seen by the judges.
There will be no dragging of feet.
All tires must cross the finish line
or you will be eliminated.
If both cars cross the finish line
with all tires, the last car over wins.
Stalling of a car is an automatic
disqualification
